Scalewest worked on development of a full featured ERP system, which covers all backoffice operations in the company, including paperless document e-signing, archive management, user access control and many other. In order to meet the constant scale demand, we used domain driven development (DDD) approach over Laravel PHP framework.

High performance websocket proxy service
Biodit
Biodit is a leading high-technology company specialized in development of state-of-the-art biometric security systems. Biodit ground-breaking biometric access control systems have no wiring (Wireless Biometric Locking System®) yet they centralize all the information through their own management and control software.
ScaleWest joined Biodit in-house development team in order to create middleware system which will sync in real time customer’s data coming from hotels, utilizing Biodit biometric security technology. Scalewest designed high performance websocket proxy service, which handles thousands of requests in real time and executes updates towards Biodit ERP system.
The service that we created allowed Biodit to reduce delay in provisioning a single customer from few minutes to a few seconds.

Low level communication protocol, mobile applications for Android, IOS and Windows mobile
RTF Global
For over 22 years RTF has been changing the way wireless retail customers display, secure, charge and manage their valuable mobile devices such as cell phones and tablets. Currently RTF has the most comprehensive suite of mobile device management products to both mechanically, electronically and through software, secure the merchandised smartphone and tablet investment.
ScaleWest joined RTF project with the goal to design and create low level communication protocol, which will be used by all different handheld devices to exchange metric data with MDM (mobile device management) server. Together with this we also developed mobile applications for Android, IOS and Windows mobile, which puts any phone in kiosk mode.
This gave the mobile carriers ability to wirelessly load and display advertising material on the screens of every mobile device in a general store.

eCommerce shop - increase stock processing
Koketna
Koketna is one of the first fashion retail e-commerce stores, which provides women apparel at more than 60% discounts. Koketna sells in 8 European countries and fully cover all e-commerce operations.
Koketna approached Scalewest with the desire to optimize their WMS (Warehouse Managements System) with the goal to increase at least 2x stock processing velocity. After thorough analysis and in-depth discovery process, we identified 5 major workflow pitfalls which prevented scalability of the warehouse KPIs. Our goal was to optimize the processes by introducing few important improvements:
- – Chaotic stock placement,
- – Shortest picking route generation,
- – Picking process via handheld devices,
- – Automatic BOL generation and
- – Streamlined dispatch process.
All these improvements were developed as a separate modules and seamlessly integrated with the existing WMS system, causing zero system downtime.
After successful completion of the upgrade process, Koketna was happy to process up to 5,000 orders per day, which was more than 3x the amount before the upgrade.

ScaleWest journey was to create a completely custom SaaS product with several payment & subscription methods. We went through the whole creation process to product-market-fit. Business value decisions relating to product design and complex front & back-end development.
The result in 5 months after launch was 200k users and 1800+ subscription paying customers.

Direct to consumer overstock solution
Fabify
Fabify is direct to consumer overstock solution. Every year global fashion brands need to clear £ billions of overstock. Current options devalue the brand and/or contaminate full-price sales. Fabify provides a solution that enhances rather than damages brand equity.
Fabify’s mission is to sell overstock on a revenue share basis to value-conscious shoppers across Europe without revealing brand names on-site, allowing brands to restrict sales by international market, and guarantee 100% sell-out within 90-days.
ScaleWest mission was to create tailor-made ERP system that handles all backstage web-site processes like: product selection, visual merchandising, automatic translation to 10+ languages, automatic shipping label generation, inventory synchronization and a lot more. We had to design a robust, highly scalable communication layer to serve as a middleware. We agreed to use weight based dynamic queues to process millions of requests per hour without hitting the load limits of the server.
The result was a global market-ready & scalable ecommerce solution. They are planning to launch in 20 countries by the end of 2021.
